The streaming giant released the premiere date in a new trailer today. Check it out below. It’s heavy — and great — on story.

A rumor last month had pegged the release date of the series as Friday, October 13th. Netflix never confirmed the rumor, but following the real-life tragic events unfolding in Las Vegas on October 1st, Marvel and Netflix pulled a planned panel and exhibition of the series at New York Comic-Con two weeks ago. It was thought at the time that the release of the series was also being indefinitely postponed given the subject matter.

For many months, though, November was expected to host the release of the 13-episode first season. We’d actually circled the 17th as the likely date. Sometimes you get one.
