The mysterious Alexandra calls upon the reborn Elektra to take down our heroes in new footage from Marvel’s The Defenders.
On Friday evening in the vaunted Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, the Marvel Television panel treated its audience to the latest full trailer for the upcoming Netflix miniseries. We get our longest look yet at the enigmatic businesswoman and mastermind, whom Sigourney Weaver refers to as an “adversary” rather than a villain, who sparks off this so-called “war for New York.”
Though they’ve played coy with Alexandra’s supposed connection to the Hand up to this point, Elektra (Elodie Yung) as the resurrected Black Sky and her meeting with Madame Gao (Wai Ching Ho) appear to underline the point in bold.
With blind master Stick’s (Scott Glenn) role in the Chaste, a group devoted to fighting the Hand, as well as Danny Rand’s (Finn Jones) hunting after the ninja clan in an effort to find the stolen mystical city of K’un Lun, our four heroes of the streets of New York are eventually brought together. We’re treated to a great preview of the humorous and volatile dynamic of the Feisty Four.
The Hall H audience was also treated to the entire first episode of the miniseries. Check out the new trailer and read more from the official press release below.
