Are we getting our first look at the title logo for Marvel’s The Punisher on new poster artwork?
Ahead of next week’s San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Entertainment Weekly previews an exclusive poster for Marvel’s The Punisher drawn by Marvel chief creative officer Joe Quesada. The poster will be a giveaway at Marvel’s convention booth.
Featuring an expectedly sullen Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, sporting his trademark skull-emblazoned body armor and his sniper rifle, the poster also appears to feature our first look at the official title wordmark for the series. There is no official verification of that, but given the prominent feature at the convention and the first season’s expected debut later this year, this does appear to be the case.
