That’s 3-for-3 for the Marvel Netflix series.
The streaming giant announced today that it has renewed Marvel’s Luke Cage for a second season following its successful and much buzzed about first frame.
The Mike Colter-fronted series follows fellow shows Daredevil and Jessica Jones in garnering second season orders. Daredevil also earned a greenlight on a third season after its sophomore session earlier this year.

Next up to bat is Marvel’s Iron Fist, the fourth and final of the individual character series Netflix purchased from Marvel TV and ABC Studios in its initial package. It premieres on March 17, 2017.
The Power Man next pools his skills with Iron Fist‘s Danny Rand, Daredevil‘s Matt Murdock, and Jessica Jones to fight for New York in the team-up mini-series Marvel’s The Defenders some time in 2017.
