• The lawyer friend Claire knows and refers to is Matt Murdock.
• When we last see Claire, she takes a slip from a pull tab ad posted on a street light poll. The ad is for martial arts training by Colleen Wing. Colleen is a character from the comics who became best friends with Misty Knight and frequently helped out Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Colleen will be a main character and friend of Danny Rand on Netflix’s next Marvel series, Iron Fist, played by Jessica Henwick.
• Misty’s look in the final scene when she checks on Mariah and Shades at Harlem’s Paradise is an homage to the character’s original look in the comics.
